Ventajas: "Hello Dear, I am writing this message while God only knows how deeply hurt and feels descriminated I am.. Please listen carefully to my below story that happened while my flight from Milan - Madrid ___ Madrid - Miami. I traveled on October, 16th from Miami - Madrid and while checking in to this flight, the gentleman on Air Europa check in desk , required me to pay for my luggage and my iternary already stated that my ticket allowes me to have one bag in cargo and one carry on baggage on board. After I met with the station supervisor and showing the receipt, she understood my rights and proceeded professionally checking me in and I made my flight perfectly all the way to Malpensa, Milan.. On October, 23rd, I was about to make my flight back from Malpensa, Milan - Barajas, Madrid to connect from Madrid to Miami as scheduled.. I proceeded in Malpensa ,Milan Airport to check in area number 5 on terminal 2, where Air Europa flight# UX 1066 is stationed to check in the PAX on this flight. Politely I asked the lady if it's possible to be seated by any emergency exits as I am ex - commerical 1st officer for almost 8 years and I will be able to assist in case of emergency, as I am familiar with evacation procedures.. she informed me that I have to pay for this service.. i totally understood and I didn't comment, while the lady reaction and the way she answered me, was really disrespectful.. Then she asked me to pay €150 for my luggage and I explained the same that happened in Miami airport.. but this time I was deeply disrespected by telling me YOU GO TO TICKETING OFFICE OR YOU WILL NOT TRAVEL...i asked the lady to speak to the supervisor.. the supervisor came after awhile and she was very kind, polite and helpful.. but she kept insisting that I have to pay for my luggage, even I showed her the flight iternirary staying that ONE LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD - 1ST BAG IS FREE - 2ND BAG COST $100... and I had only one bag... Then she saw the receipt and while reading it, another lady from the check in station needed the supervisor help, so she left and I found myself speaking to no one, except the lady who is in charge of my checking in process. Then I told her that it's not fair to pay for something that I already paid for. No one in life can imagine how rude, impolite and discriminating she was.. specially speaking to her colleague in Italian carrying a conversation that I can't understand at all.. but I was able only to understand one thing she mentioned many times while angry... ( La Arabo ).... Yes I am Arabic person from Egypt that love the world from east to west, South to north... and I am living in The United States Of America with a beautiful family that have friends from different cultures, religions and races... But I felt really discriminated at this point when she mentioned ( La Arabo ) many times.... Then she looked at me saying OK AIR SIR ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR YOUR BAG OR YOU ARE OK TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT ?"
Desventajas: "I honestly told her (( SHUU )) because yes, I was feeling very disrespected and discriminated.. so it's fair enough to tell her (( SHUUU )) as I was looking at someone who is still discriminating people in 2017..Then I told her where to pay ? She directed me to the TICKETING office.. I went there and was really very sad.. not for paying, for how come someone can treat a customer like that... or even a human..then when the gentleman asked me for the credit card, I dropped it on his table.. Yes I know that I did it not in a nice way.. but then i apologized to the gentleman..  and you can ask him that I told him that you have nothing to do with this..  and I should apologize.. he gave me the receipt that I still have it that prove paying €150 for my luggage.. I went through security and then proceeded to my gate with a huge feeling of happiness that I will see my family in the U.S soon after a long trip.. The craziest thing even happened while I was proceeding to the boarding gate, the lady took my boarding pass and informed me that I am not allowed to board the airplane for security reasons..What???? Why??? What did I do??? No one talk to me... The lady who was checking me in earlier was turning her face and smiling.... can you imagine?????? Can you imagine the abuse????? Then I told her what did I do ??? I am not a bad person to not be allowed to board the airplane... I don't carry a gun or anything that threatening the safety on the aircraft..  and you know What??  I started to cry while I feel that I am deeply discriminated.... they told me that the captain has the rights to refuse you being on board... Again, as an EX Commercial Pilot, I know very well that for security and safety reasons for the aircraft, the PIC has the authority not to accept a passenger on board, in case that this pax is threatening the airplane verbally, visually, mentally and physically by showing any extreme illness symptoms that would put the life of passengers on board in danger.... DO I AM ONE OF ALL THIS?????? I am someone who is never being in a police department for any criminal purposes and never threatened any human being life... so why I am not allowed to board the aircraft and go back home to see my family and go to my work that I gain my salary from, to pay my taxes to the country that I am resident in, The United States Of America.. And if you are planning to decline my boarding process, why would you let me pay €150 for the luggage???? Isn't it really unfair???? We all work hard to afford our living... so why to do this for me whime I am leaving my family in America to travel for business to afford living for my family.... it's not fair by any meaning or language...."

Ventajas: "El vuelo salio y llego en hora. El personal de check-in muy amable, pedí sitio en ventana y me lo concedieron."
Desventajas: "Comida bastante simple y lo peor de todo que no había servicio de entretenimiento en el avión. Te dicen que puedes descargarlo en tus dispositivos móviles, pero ni en el móvil, ni en la tablet ni en el ordenador lo conseguí, con lo que se hace muy pesado el vuelo sin tener acceso a películas."

Desventajas: "TV was awful because movies were old and besides, we had to pay for wi fi services. there was no space."

Ventajas: "Amabilidad a tope, mi asiento amplio, muy cómodo. Buena comida y excelente atención. Puntual."

Desventajas: "Air Europa lost my bag for 6 days. I picked it up at the airport finally the 7th day of my trip. They found it on day 3 but took 4 entire days to ship it from Boston. Awful. We were also delayed 3 hours in Madrid with no compensation, we got a "snack" voucher that totaled $5. It was terrible and I will never fly this airline again."

Desventajas: "I had to add luggage into the booking. In short, that is impossible to do on the website, and very little information about luggage in the booking procedure. So, the passenger didn't take any changes and asked me to book flight with another airline. Which I did, and found out that canceling is not a thing that you do either...."

Desventajas: "Bad services, and the staff too"

Desventajas: "As my connecting flight was late due to the check-in debacle, I had very little time to make it to this flight. After running I made it, and my assigned seat had a broken chair! In fact the whole thing, including the newspaper holder and the screen were broken. The flight attendant was not shocked by this at all, simply suggested to use the seat next to me if no one was using it. The entertainment on these flights is awful! Only a few very old movies, and you have to pay 3 euros for the head phones. The planes they have are quite old and broken all around."

Desventajas: "As a musician all it takes is one flight attendant to make your trip a nightmare. Every flight is a game of cat and mouse to get your instrument on board. I was told there wasn't enough room, in the end half the over heads were empty."

Ventajas: "The ticket / check-in agent was very helpful and made sure we were seated together or near each other on all 3 legs of our travel."
Desventajas: "The inability to check in ahead of the flight is frustrating - especially when you have to wait for nearly an hour for the counter to open."

Ventajas: "Crew were simpatico and attentive. Seats OK, but not lie flat, Food was fine althoug not excellent. Good price for a business class MAD SJU."
Desventajas: "Boarding in Madrid was horrendous. After asking us to board the plane then held us in the "chute" standing up for 1/2 hour. Could have waited inside the terminal seating down! Entertainment in business was from the last century - no individual screens. An Ipad was handed to us resulting in a bunch of cables surrounding us through the entire trip."

Desventajas: "Lo malo: un avión ya de por sí incómodo, por ser un turbohélice, al que equipan con asientos imposibles, y encima no reclinables. Para un vuelo de estas características y duración (1:30h), lo suyo hubiera sido, al menos, darnos algo de desayunar, cosa que no ocurrió. Para remate llegamos 15 minutos tarde."

Desventajas: "Las cabinas de pasajeros de los aviones de Air Europa están obsoletas. No tienen sistema de entretenimiento, la tapicería está sucia y los asientos son incómodos. Soy viajero Suma Platinum y la nueva configuración de asientos es horrible, parece un Vueling pero con precio de línea regular. Se están equivocando con el planteamiento o desde luego no es válido para los viajeros frecuentes."

Desventajas: "My flight was changed twice after I purchased it and it was delay over two hours. When it finally was time to"board" we found ourselves getting into a packed bus where we needed to stand to get to the actual plain. They never anouced it as such, elder people that night were struggling without previous notice. Very unprofessional and insensitive airline. Never again."

Desventajas: "The entertainment was a little frustrating. The screens were only in the middle section so if you sat on the sides, it was really hard to see. There was also no outlets available on a 7-8 hour flight."

Ventajas: "Avion nuevo para el vuelo, se me hizo corto, todas las comodidades en cuestion multimedia y entretenimiento estupendas.. Recomiendo la compañia air europa para vuelos a miami.."
Desventajas: "Muy mal los precios de wifi, 7€ 10mb?, 13€ 20mb, 20€ 50mb, precios y megas no tienen sentido, quien los puso no tiene conocimiento de lo que es 1 mb y de como se gasta.. Simplemente con abrir el movil y actualizar notificaciones sms, wasap y alguna foto puedes superar los 100nb sin a ver tocado el movil.."

Ventajas: "Very little to like about the trip. As a very experienced traveller the trip to MAD was not pleasing. It appeared that crew attitudes reflect unacceptable monitoring and control by Air Auropa management of crew performance and equipment maintenance..The unworkable entertainment system failed ti entertain. No major delay. Able to meet connections."
Desventajas: "MVD to MAD leg. At meal times crew did not request passenger to sit their seats upright. Crew sleeping in the 2 seats in front of us had seats back total time of trip. It was very difficult to eat meats with the seat back in front of us. Hit in the face by crew member forcing seat back rapidly on change of crew rest period. Curtains of crew rest area encroached into my seat area. It was annoying, colostrophobic and unacceptable . One male member of the crew, when serving drinks at meal time mumbled Ïdiotö¨. I assumed he was referring to me. At breakfast time we were ignored when drinks were served. The entertainment system was unusable. It was apparent that the system was mal functioning and needs replacing. . I spoke to the head attendant and relayed our concerns. I was refused a visit from the captain in order to express pour concerns."

Desventajas: "Both flights were at lest an hour or more late. Some disorder in boarding. Screaming kids... and parents who did not discipline them."

Ventajas: "Overall the experience was pleasant, once we figured out that things were fine. The crew was friendly and the seats are better than United Airline."
Desventajas: "We arrived at JFK early 4 hours before departure, and there was no sign and no one to ask questions. The check-in did not start until 2:30 before departure and there was no announcement."

Ventajas: "One of the flight attendants was vert kind"
Desventajas: "Everything. The flight was delayed 13 hours, they did not gave us the connecting flights passboards up until boarding the plane, my baggage was checked in only until Madrid, when we arrived I was told the bag will go to Mallorca, I asked again at the connecting gate and they told me the opposite, I had to go out get the bag, check it and go in again (changing terminals 3 times in the process walking almost 1 hour and a half), the connecting flight left also one hour late"

Desventajas: "El avión salió tarde, era bastante viejo e incómodo y no tenía ningún tipo de amenidades"

Ventajas: "The food and entertainment were good."
Desventajas: "The discomfort due to my seat assignment. My seat was directly in front of the wall to the restrooms; there was hardly any room to push my seat back into a cozy position and the continuous sound of the toilet flushing was annoying. Select your seats in advance if you're able to."

Desventajas: "Air Europa is using an old plane for the MAD-SJU route. It's a flight over 8 hours long. The entertainment screens are overhead, seats not so great."

Desventajas: "Impossible to confirm flight online. Seat assignments split us up, including our children When we were finally able to be seated together it was 3 in last row an one in 2nd to last where attendants kept bumping into seats, making noise etc. 9 year old son's monitor didn't work after we bought headset. Took many hours and multiple requests for assistance and refund. Crew left 9 year old son off of flight manifest resulting in his detainment by homeland security st JFK."
