Hotel du Cadran

This hotel and its staff were wonderful until the heat wave at which point the A. C. broke for 20 hrs. throughout the hotel EXCEPT the lobby which I quickly discovered that I would just camp out there until I could breathe in our room. After 12 hrs and our 3rd trip downstairs, we were offered a fan which helped. Many were not given that option. One couple checked out early and was charged for the day. After requesting a discount for the miserable 20 hrs, my husband was credited with his breakfast he had eaten( I eat Pastries in our room). It was the dishonest with the different guests that bothered me the most(“They are working on it” the first night to “We hope they are coming today.” on the 2nd night and telling one couple “It’s working. It takes a while to kick on” after being out for 12 hrs. This is really a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff that seemed to have no support system to help them with this situation. This was their 2nd heat wave this summer. I didn’t see on the news where a lot of air conditioning units were out so it seemed to be just be our problem.

I simply wanted honesty and fairness. Except for 20 brutal hours, I would have rated it excellent.

Tiene una ubicación céntrica, actualizada, cerca de la mayoría de las atracciones principales, el personal es servicial, ¡las camas son muy cómodas! Volveremos si volvemos a París.
